Restoring dignity to the marginalised
Cape Town is a city of both extraordinary beauty and pain. On its streets live thousands of people who have been overlooked by systems, by society, and sometimes by the Church. Dignity Restore was founded in the belief that this must change.

Who we are
We are a Christian non-profit rooted in the conviction that every human being in the land bears the image of God and deserves to be treated accordingly. Food, clean water, sanitation, and shelter are not luxuries but basic human rights.

And plead the cause of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8–9
What we do
We have three pillars to restoring dignity to those without a home.

We coordinate food distribution across Cape Town’s most underserved communities, partnering with local churches and volunteers to ensure no one goes to bed hungry.

We work directly with communities and service providers to improve hygiene conditions and water access in the city as a basic right to dignity.

We support organisations doing the hard, long-term work of helping individuals rebuild their lives through skills development.
How to support our mission
Support our fundraising initiatives while building community through a variety of activities we host on a regular basis. Hikes and walks around the city. Sip and paint classes. A variety of coffee, tea, and wine tastings
